1. Anupama Ramachandran
India’s Anupama Ramachandran won the the under-21 title in the women’s snooker championship on Saturday with 79-13, 61-63, 31-76, 85-55, 53-42 victory over ploychompoo laokiatphong of Thailand in the final. Anupama who is coached by former international S.A. Saleem at the at the Slemm snooker Academy in Chennai, had earlier won the World Cup with Amee Kamani.
2. Craig Fulton
Hockey India on Friday Confirmed that the Craig Fulton will replace the Current Coach Graham Reid as the new Chief Coach of the International men’s team. Craif Fulton is Former South African mid field player and a former international coach of the Ireland’s men’s national field hockey team, represented South Africa at 1996 and 2004 Summer Olympics and at the 2002 Men’s Hockey World Cup.
3. Droupadi Murmu
The ‘Catch the Rain 2023’ campaign was introduced by President Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi. The camps central idea is the sustainability of the drinking water sources . While addressing at the ceremony the President stated that since India has only 4% of the worlds water resources, water management and conversation are India’s most pressing challenges.
