1. Neal Mohan

The new CEO of Youtube will be Neal Mohan, who joined google in 2007 and becomes Youtube’s Chief Product Officer in 2015. He was also Google’s Senior Vice President, Display and Video Ads for close to eight years. He will replace the former CEO of Youtube Susan Wojcicki.

2. Ashoka University

Researchers from Ashoka University have discovered a new species of Cricket. According to the Scientists “they were surveying the land trying to capture the soundscape of the area when they heard a buzzing noise from a bush that sounded like two crickets”.

3. ₹7 Lakh

According to the new Income Tax Slab which was recently announced by Finance Minister N Sitharaman, those who are earning up to ₹7 Lakh a year need not to pay any income tax under the tax regime, giving a push from the regime which disallows all the exemptions on investments.

4. ₹2.4 Lakh Crore

Railways to get ₹2.4 Lakh Crore for the financial year 2023-24 compared to ₹1.4 Lakh Crore in FY22-23, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the outlay for the railways is nine times the amount provided in 2013-14.

5. Smriti Mandhana

6. Madhya Pradesh

The Khelo India Youth Games 2023 was held in Madhya Pradesh from January 30 to February 11, Which was unveiled by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan with the torch moscot and the theme song of the Khelo India Youth Games.

7. Maharashtra

Maharashtra won the Khelo India Youth Games 2023 title after topping the medals tally with 56 gold medals, 55 silvers and 50 bronze while Haryana finished second in the list with 41 gold medals, 32 silver medals and 55 bronze.

8. Rs 4800 Crore

Recently the cabinet has approved an amount of Rs 4800 Crore for the Development of Villages along with the Northern Border areas under the “Vibrant Village Programme”, to improve the quality of life and encourage people to stay in their native locations in the border areas.

9. New Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the National Aadi Mahotsav on 16th February 2023 at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, New Delhi. This was announced at a media briefing by the Union Minister if Tribal Affairs, Arjun Munda in New Delhi.

10. 15th February

International Childhood Cancer day 2023 is observed on 15th February every year. The day was observed by the Childhood cancer International, an umbrella organization of various child cancer support groups created by parents.
