1. Rajesh Malhotra
Senior Indian Information Service (IIS) officer , Rajesh Malhotra has been appointed as the principal director general of Press Information Bureau (PIB), according to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting He will be the Principal spokesperson for the Government of India. Rajesh Malhotra will be replacing Satyendra Prakash, Who took charge as the principal DG of PIB in August 2022.

There is been a great increase in the India’s electricity consumption for February which is accounted as the growth of over 9% to 117.84 billion units in this year. As per the Experts Power consumption and demand would grow in March as well as the further improvement in economic activities as well as in the rise in the temperature.

Asiatic Memorial Fleet day is observed every year on 1st March. It is observed in the memory of the Americans who lost their lives when Japanese sank the U.S.S. Houston, a vessel part of the Asiatic fleet in 1942. On the 60th Anniversary of the event, Former US President George W. Bush proclaimed March 1 as a day dedicated to the Asiatic Fleet as a special tribute to the veterans who lost their lives.
4. Bhopal
Madhya Pradesh’s first women and child friendly police station is being setup to built in Jahangirabad, Bhopal. this police station will be designed like a waiting room, reception window, feeding room and a place for children to play have been made in the garden for visitors also. According to officials the police station building will be redesigned from the victims and visitors convenience point of view, which will be inaugurated in next few days.
5. Bola Tinubu
Bola Tinubu, 70 year old has been declared as the winner of the Nigeria’s most competitive election for its President. Bola Tinubu is set to replace President Muhammadu Buhari in May, Unless the opposition claims the manipulation lead to rerun.
